Check out these images of Amy Joy Watson’s colorful, imaginative installation Big Rock Candy Mountain, which was shown in 2011 at the Contemporary Art Centre of South Australia. The installation was inspired by the experience of being in one place while thinking or dreaming about another, aptly taking its title from Harry McClintock’s 1928 ode of the same name, an ode to an imagined hobo’s paradise, a modern version of the medieval concept of Cockaigne.
