I’m smitten with these lovely, narrative paintings of people and animals by Chicago-based painter, illustrator and printmaker Kate Pugsley. Kate was born in Cleveland, Ohio and studied at the Rhode Island School Design. She finds inspiration in the small things, like “glimpsing an interesting color combination on the street or simply seeing something out of the ordinary.” (Images via www.katepugsley.com)
