I absolutely adore this lovely textile art by Dutch artist and designer Hagar van Heummen, head of the creative studio Happy Red Fish. Hagar works in my dream setting—in a small studio overlooking a garden in the heart of Amsterdam. Hagar collects old photographs from many sources including old magazines, books and flickr, combining them to create clean, detailed, nostalgic collages with thread on paper or canvas. As for inspiration, Hagar finds it in many sources including music, old illustration books, old toys, life and love. (Images via www.happy-red-fish.com)
